Privacy policy

What we collect
- Your email address — it is the account, used to send the digest and sign-in links.
- Product profiles you create — product names, FDA identifiers (product codes, application numbers, CFR citations), lifecycle stage, and any firm or manufacturer names you provide.
- Digest engagement — whether a digest email was opened or clicked. This is the one measurement we take, because it tells us whether the product deserves your inbox.
- Operational records — when your account was created, when you last opened your dashboard, and the state of your action items.
What we deliberately don’t
- No advertising pixels or third-party trackers on any page. Site analytics (Google Analytics 4) loads only if you accept the consent banner — decline, or browse with Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track enabled, and it never loads at all.
- No sale, rental, or sharing of your data with advertisers or data brokers. Ever.
- No payment details — nothing is on sale yet.
How your data is used
To do the thing you signed up for: match FDA activity to your products, send you the digest, and show your portfolio when you sign in. Your portfolio may generate aggregate, non-identifying statistics (for example, “how many subscribers watch Class II devices”) that guide what we build. Your individual portfolio is never published, shared between accounts, or shown to anyone but you.
Who processes it
Infrastructure runs on Supabase (database and authentication; AWS us-east-1) and Netlify (hosting). Both act as processors on our behalf. FDA data we match against is public information from U.S. government sources.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from the digest in one click, in every email.
- Delete a product from your dashboard — its matches and history are removed immediately.
- Delete your account and data — email hello@regulatoryleadership.com and it is done; the database cascade removes your subscriber record, portfolio, and history together.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the change is announced in the digest and dated here — appended, like everything else we correct.
